The "General Purpose Polypropylene Pressure-sensitive Adhesive Tape", "Guidelines for the manufacture, use, and recycling of packaging, labeling pressure-sensitive adhesive products," and the "Nomenclature of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Products," issued by the National Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China National standards have now been basically completed. These three standards are related to the development of China's pressure sensitive adhesives in the product industry and the interests of many manufacturers. It is very important. In order to listen to the views of a large number of manufacturers and related organizations, China Adhesive Industry Association held a review meeting in Beijing on these three standards.
Mr. Gong Yifan, Secretary General of the Association, gave a detailed introduction of the establishment of the National Standardization Professional Committee and the composition of professional committee members. He also introduced the "General Purpose Polypropylene Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape" and "Packaging and Labeling Pressure Sensitive Adhesives. "Guidelines for the manufacture, use, and recycling of products", and the drafting and revision process of the three national standards for the term "pressure sensitive adhesive products." Experts like Lu Fengting and Wei Qinglai who participated in the review and revision of national standards expressed their gratitude to the manufacturers Hongchang Adhesive Tape Factory, Yongda (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd., Hebei Huaxia Industrial Co., Ltd., and Beijing Jiangrun Engineering who actively participated in the preparation and modification. Mr. Wu Weiqing, Director of Technical Subcommittee of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Products, defined the responsibility of the Technical Committee of Pressure Sensitive Plastic Products-Leading and Responsible for the formulation and revision of all product standards and experimental methods for the pressure-sensitive adhesives and products industry, and responsible for the deliberation of standards. The review draft will be submitted to the higher authorities for review and approval in a timely manner and will be responsible for tracking the standards of similar products and experimental methods in developed countries. He also gave a work plan for 2008 and 2009. It pointed out that in 2008, two basic standards for pressure-sensitive adhesive products should be completed—names (national standards) for pressure-sensitive adhesive products, and guidelines for the manufacture, use, and recycling of pressure-sensitive adhesive products for packaging and labeling (national standards). As the representative of the standard drafting company, Chen Huachang, manager of quality control department of Yongda (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. presided over the review of “Guidelines for the manufacture, use, and recycling of pressure sensitive adhesive products for packaging and labelingâ€: Chief Engineer, Hebei Huaxia Industrial Co., Ltd. Zeng Xianjia presided over the review of the terminology for pressure-sensitive adhesive products; Yin Chaojian, manager of quality control department of Guangzhou Hongchang Adhesive Tape Factory, presided over the review of “universal polypropylene pressure-sensitive adhesive tapeâ€.
In addition to the standard drafting units, many well-known pressure-sensitive adhesive manufacturers in various regions of the country such as Zhongshan New Asia, Zhejiang Yonghe, Zhongshan Yongyi, Fuzhou Zhongshan, Shantou Jinghua, Zhejiang Fenghua, Xi’an Xiangyang, Jingjiang Henghe, Shunde Gorgeous treasures, Shanghai Huancheng, Zhongshan United Crown, Zhongshan Crown, Fujian Fuqing Friendship, Jiangyin Shuanghua, Wuxi Spring Protective Film Co., Ltd., etc., all sent representatives to participate in the meeting. The Association also invited 3M China Co., Ltd. and tesa tape technology. Representatives of sole proprietorships or joint ventures such as Co., Ltd., National Starch Chemical Co., Ltd., Siwei Precision Investment Co., Ltd., and Ningbo Research Institute Chemical Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. More than 40 representatives took a responsible attitude toward the company and was responsible for the industry, fully discussed and negotiated, and actively and seriously scrutinized and revised the contents of the three standards. Mr. Xiong Haijun of 3M Company, Mr. Chen Weibin of Dessa tape technology company, and Mr. Shi Yifeng of National Starch have provided valuable opinions on the differences between the terms and conditions of domestic standards and foreign standards.
The meeting also requested cold laminating film manufacturers Zhongshan Fuzhou, Yongyi and Lianguan to implement the classification and experimental methods of cold laminating films as soon as possible, and requested the production of protective film and pressure-sensitive adhesive labels, including Baolibao, Xi’an Xiangyang, and Wuxi Spring. Zhejiang Fenghua took the time to implement and draft industry standards for protective film and pressure-sensitive adhesive labels. Representatives from Aufen Huichuan Paper Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Tianjian Computer System Engineering Co., Ltd. introduced the quality control of foreign companies. The advanced concepts and facilities in the process and computers are used in advanced systems for product production and quality control. The meeting was open and intense.
