This product is said to be very environmentally friendly, is a multi-purpose UV and solvent-based ink cleaner, and has no corrosive effect on commonly used aluminum anilox printing rollers.
Harperscientific claims that Altrawash Blue is a concentrated ink cleaner that can be used for cleaning inks in voltage brushing systems, dipping tanks, and ultrasonic tanks. At the same time, the product can also be used as an anilox roller cleaner, and also has a strong cleaning effect on the printing plate.
Altrawash Blue detergent has a pH of 11.8. It is said that the surface active agent is very environmentally friendly because it does not use petroleum distillates and chemicals that are harmful to the surrounding environment.
This cleaner is a biodegradable, low VOC product with low evaporation. Products that can be diluted with water are marketed by Harperscientific's specialty-size containers in 1-gallon, 5-gallon, 30-gallon, and 55-gallon sizes.
