U.S. launches computer-controlled weighing system with only 0.01 grams of error

The world’s leading manufacturer of weighing equipment and systems, Avery Weigh-Tronix, recently introduced a new computer-controlled weighing machine. It is said that this weighing machine can help food packaging companies to effectively product weighing and automatically record relevant data.

This weighing machine, the Reflex HP series, can be used to reduce the weight loss caused by manual weighing and reduce the time for automatic calibration. Avery Weigh-Tronix said that by automatically logging in to the computer control system, the relevant weighing information can be queried by date, time, serial number, and model number, thereby increasing the traceability of product packaging quality.

The built-in software system of the device can automatically collect related data into the computer and record it through software such as Microsoft Excel, Access or Lotus 1-2-3. The system can also provide warnings under overload conditions to avoid unnecessary material waste during weighing.

Avery Weigh-Tronix also stated that the device can automatically calibrate itself to small changes in ambient temperature. In addition, the time for automatic calibration can also be set so that it does not affect the time of weighing the package.

There are 8 different models of this series of equipment, weighing from 220 grams to 8200 grams. The company said that the error of this device is within 0.01 grams.
