A classical furniture industry brings a strong cultural town

“Hometown of Chinese Classical Furniture”, “Chinese Ming and Qing Dynasties Furniture, Woodcarving, Stone Carving and Distribution Base”, “The First Town of Ancient Furniture in China” – this is the title of Shuilupo Town in Yangxin County.

Among the 125 administrative villages in the town, 37 villages are engaged in the ancient furniture industry, forming a cluster of villages and villages such as the acquisition and processing of classical furniture.

Since the 1960s and 1970s, Shuipoo Town has formed an atmosphere of collecting old furniture. Most of the first batch of practitioners came from the same village: Dazhang Village. Later, the practitioners walked out of Yangxin, traveled all over the country and even went abroad, and recycled a large number of old items such as classical furniture, porcelain, calligraphy and painting, and sold them to local customers and then resold them to Beijing and Shanghai. Zhang Xinguo, secretary of the Party Committee of Shuilupo Town, Yangxin County, said: At present, the ancient furniture market in Shuilupo Town has formed a joint purchase, repair, imitation and sales linkage model, becoming the largest collection, processing, storage and sales center for old furniture in Shandong Province.

In February 2010, the Shuilupo Folk Culture Industrial Park was established. The park covers an area of ​​5.14 square kilometers and has a planned total investment of 3 billion yuan. At present, there are 47 enterprises and more than 200 merchants, including over 100 million yuan. 5 enterprises (Dinglong, Pangu, Yixiang, Haotian, Taoyuan). In 2013, the park achieved a sales income of 740 million yuan and solved more than 5,000 jobs.

In the construction of the park, the water slope slope adheres to the high starting point planning and high standard construction. The goal is to build the country's largest comprehensive cultural park integrating classical furniture collection, sorting, viewing, exhibition, production and folk culture research.

Shuilupo Town has hired the deep control regulations of Tongji University's design park strategy and township construction, and positioned the urban structure of Shuilupo Town as “one town, two districts, three axes, four gardens and ten communities”, and hired Peking University to formulate the “National The feasibility study report of the demonstration base of the folk culture industry and the feasibility study report of the special support project will further expand and extend the folk culture industry chain. At the same time, Jinan Dawei Design Institute was hired to design detailed regulations for the construction of Pangu Avenue.

At present, Pangu Avenue, Gulou Street and Zhonglou Street have been completed and opened to traffic. The center island has been formed, and the renderings of the bell tower and the drum tower have been completed. Construction will start soon.

Since 2011, the park has held four large-scale activities such as the Yellow River Delta Folk Culture Festival, the First Collection Expo, an Antique Taobao Club, and two antiques to catch up. In September 2012, the Shandong TV station sports channel "Wu Xing Tian Xia" Zhongtai International Boxing Championship was held. CCTV was invited to produce the feature film of the Industrial Park and broadcasted in 7 sets of CCTV. This move further enhanced the national influence of the park and attracted tourists from all over the country to come for leisure travel. The park has successively won the "China Classical Furniture Culture Industry Base", "Shandong Province Cultural Industry Demonstration Base", "Shandong Province Specialized Professional Market", "Shandong Provincial Government Key Construction Project", "Shandong Province Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site", "Fuminxing" Lu Labor Certificate and other honorary titles. In December 2013, Shuilupo Folk Culture Industrial Park was rated as a national 3a-level tourist scenic spot and became the first national-level tourist scenic spot in Yangxin County.
