Degradable plastics are difficult to popularize due to their high cost. However, mixing it with paper can reduce costs and produce different new materials. Not long ago, the Fuji Industrial Technology Center in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan successfully launched a new material for the synthesis of paper and biodegradable plastics.
According to reports, this new material can be produced by mixing papermaking, laminating and forming processes. Among them, the molding process uses an injection molding machine to shape the product. This method integrates plastic and paper. The company uses bubbling catalytic wet plating technology to coat the glass fiber surface with a uniform metal thin layer, and the resulting glass fiber paper has good electrical conductivity. This conductive fiberglass paper can be composited with resin to make an electromagnetic shielding material.
