Now you can print your mini Strati car in 3D.

Recently, after the show at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, Local Motors' 3D printing Strati car has swept the world. The company partnered with Cincinnati Incorporated, Oak Ridge National Laboratories, and The Association For Manufacturing Technology to unveil their 3D printed driveable cars on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
The car, called Strati, was formed in three stages at the 6th show. In the first phase, the car was printed by Cincinnati Incorporated's BAAM (large range of additive manufacturing machines) using additive manufacturing technology for 44 hours. In the second phase, the use of reduced material manufacturing techniques, including a full day of milling, was carried out using the machines offered by Thermwood. After completion, the third phase, the final phase, was a quick assembly, at which stage the team led by Local Motors completed the final touchdown for Strati. Then, just insert the key and start the maiden voyage of the car.
Today, Local Motors has announced the printing of an ultra-precise 1:10 scale Strati model, allowing everyone to print their own Mini Strati in their own home.
According to the Antarctic Bear 3D Printing Network, printable files are the same as those used to print full-size Strati files at the Chicago International Manufacturing Technology Show, and now you can print this mini model on your proprietary printer. .
