At the beginning of September, at the invitation of the German Bio-Renewable Fuel Association and other organizations, the Rural Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology sent staff to Europe to participate in biogas inspections, focusing on biogas engineering, equipment, policies and regulations.
Biogas is similar in nature to natural gas, and has the characteristics of green, clean, environmental protection and sustainability. In recent years, Germany, Sweden and other European countries have paid more and more attention to the application of biogas, and have begun to apply it to combined heat and power, pipeline gas, and transportation fuel. The raw materials for biogas production in Germany are mainly energy plants and livestock and poultry manures. Most of them use high-concentration mixed storage gas integrated fermentation tanks. The purpose is to directly drive the generator set for combined heat and power generation and begin to change to pipeline biogas and vehicle gas. And set the development target of biogas production of 600 million and 1 billion cubic meters by 2020 and 2030 respectively. Sweden is the first in the world to develop biogas for vehicles. The main raw materials for biogas production are municipal sewage sludge, kitchen waste and food industry waste. The bus powered by biogas has been used since 1996. At present, 1/4 of the total production of biogas in Sweden is purified and purified for use as a vehicle fuel, and its consumption has exceeded that of natural gas. In 2009, 23,000 vehicles used biogas and 104 gas stations.
The development of biogas in Europe has benefited from the support of the corresponding supporting laws and regulations and preferential tax policies. In order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the biogas industry, Germany has begun to readjust its policies to play a positive role in the environmental friendly, sustainable and energy of bioenergy. Germany, Sweden and other European countries' biogas engineering technology innovation experience and practices have a positive reference for the smooth implementation of relevant biogas projects and topics of our Ministry.
