The principle of placing the tested items in the salt spray test machine is as follows:
1. The test sample is placed in the salt spray test machine with the test surface facing up, so that the salt spray generated by the salt spray tester can be freely settled and deposited on the test surface of the sample, and the salt spray cannot be directly sprayed onto the test surface of the sample. on.
2. The test sample should be laid flat under normal circumstances. In the salt spray test chamber, the test surface of the sample should be 15°~30° from the vertical direction and 20° as far as possible. For irregular samples (such as the whole workpiece), the above requirements should be as close as possible.
3. The test samples can be placed on different horizontal surfaces in the salt spray test cabinet, but they must not touch the cabinet or touch each other. The distance between the test samples shall not affect the free fall of the salt spray on the test surface, and the droplets of salt spray accumulated on the test sample shall not drip onto other test samples. For new salt spray tests with a total test period of more than 96 hours, the sample can be displaced.
4. The sample holder is made of material resistant to salt spray and acid-base corrosion such as glass or plastic. If the sample is to be hung on the support, the material of the suspended sample cannot be made of metal. Generally, cotton fiber and man-made fiber are used.
