Steel tube surface treatment

The treatment of the surface of the steel pipe is one of the key factors to ensure the performance of the epoxy powder anti-corrosion layer. The anticorrosion production line adopts two shot blasting and descaling machines connected in series. The first one uses steel shots to remove rust; the second one uses steel grit to roughen the surface of the steel pipe to facilitate the adhesion of the powder to the steel pipe. Using 24 spray guns, the principle of flow control is to ensure that the thickness of the anti-corrosion layer is uniform, and most of the sprayed powder can be coated on the pipe. Using two-component liquid powder repair material. The repair method is to polish the defect and its surroundings (usually file or sandpaper), and then apply the mixed repair material with a spatula to make the thickness uniform and slightly higher than the surrounding anti-corrosion layer. Wait for the surface to dry before proceeding EDM inspection, no leakage point is qualified.
