Creativity is "thinking new methods, building new theories, making new achievements or things" (Chinese dictionary). The achievements of mankind today are indeed the result of creativity. The importance of creation is self-evident, but the term "creativity" has not been found in the Xinhua character (cipher) code so far. It is hard to verify where the specific origin is. But earlier appeared in some of the Hong Kong and Taiwanese design books and articles in the 1980s and 1990s, and there was a line such as "creative director." Its exact meaning has not yet been determined by authority. So far, all that can be found in various officially published Chinese dictionaries are: creation, creation, innovation, creation, and creation. So, what is the connection and difference between creativity and these words with “creative”? The literal interpretation should be the meaning of “creative idea” or “creative artistic conception (form)”; the former is the meaning of creating a sense (sense), and the latter is a form of artistic creation. 
For example, in the "Yangcheng Evening News" (B5, August 27, 2001), when reporting on the new eight-point view of Yangcheng, the title was: "Inventory 39 years ago", which means that the selection of the eight views of Yangcheng began in 1962. The "creativity" here is the idea of ​​creating ideas (but it can be said: there must be no "creative" thirty-nine years ago). In addition, some new ideas or new ideas are often generated by some kind of "creative ideas." 
“Artistic conception” embodies artistic styling; for example, the production of various genres of painting, sculpture, literature, drama, film, and dance in the art styling, or furniture, supplies, clothing, advertising, packaging, and environment in terms of art design. The renewal and creation of the form with the interior are all ideas of the mood. 
In fact, creativity is an innovation in the form of thinking and modeling. Although "creativity" here also contains creative elements, it does not create a new method or substance, but rather creates a visible or invisible form of methods and materials, such as the creation of people and objects, or people. The forms of behavior, thinking, and expression (eg, forms of concept, expression, performance, management, leadership, etc.)
Creativity, in terms of styling, not only lies in its newness but, more importantly, its artistry, that is, it has a certain degree of representation and advancement in aesthetics. For example, paintings, sculptures, or design stylings, no matter how true or skillfully performed, do not mean that they are creative. As long as we look at the large number of mainstream paintings currently on the market, or those “deja vu” and a lot of copies of daily necessities , clothing and decoration, you can understand this: they are at best only a replica of some creative and mass production. 
One of the reasons for this situation is that so far in the field of painting and sculpture-based modeling, the creativity has not always been placed in an important position, or even just the skill of its technology, such as students who are studying art and design The sketching and color sketching training should actually belong to technical training; its role is similar to the fact that computer typing is very popular today. We spend time learning to write beautiful hand-written fonts. We can't say it is useless, because at least one type of learning is good. The ability to envy, but no matter how well the words are written, even if you want to be a calligrapher, you must also have new ideas in the form of calligraphy. However, if the goal is to become a writer, I am afraid that is half the effort. Because literary creation requires the writer not only to use words (writing or typing) to express his thoughts, but also to require the writer's knowledge, observation and analysis capabilities, as well as the ability to write text. The core of creation is creativity, whose value lies in its originality. In the same way, even those who do the best in sketching and color painting must become creative even if they are realistic painters. If you want to become an art designer, you need more supplementary knowledge and skills. In addition to creativity, there is little creativity in the use of materials and technology, customer thinking, and customer issues. 
To understand the significance of modeling creativity, we may wish to browse the development of western art; from classical painting (Fig. 1), impressionism (Fig. 2), Fauvism (Fig. 3 abbreviated), Cubism (Fig. 4a) The "cold abstract paintings" (figure 5) and the "hot abstract paintings" (figure 6), which most people cannot understand, were successful because they all had different degrees of originality. However, if the truthfulness and skillfulness can reach a new height, within a certain period of time, it will still have aesthetic value, or it will also have a certain degree of creativity. In the history of modern art, "superrealist" paintings (Fig. 7 omitted) and sculptures (Fig. 8) were successful. However, if this technique is used by others to imitate things and paint similar things, there is no creativity at all. In terms of design styling, due to the incorporation of many business, technical, and commercial factors, it is more difficult to determine the direct relationship between success and failure and creativity, but whether creativity is still one of the most critical factors.
