The first thing is to master the correct exposure time. The medical film of the printing plate we use is generally of the photodegradation type. If the exposure is excessive, the graphic elements will be affected and the service life will be reduced. In general, the four-color color separation film requires that 3% of the small dots are not lost, and 98% of the dots are not blurred; the lines and text are clear and the version is not lost.

Secondly, it is necessary to strictly control the concentration and development time of the developing solution of the printing plate. Larger concentration or longer time will affect the drug film surface of the graphic part. If the concentration is lower or shorter, the development is not thorough, the blank part is easy to get dirty, and the service life of the printing plate will be reduced. Therefore, the developer must be prepared strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements, and at the same time, the protective glue must be rubbed.

Once again, the service life of the printing plate can be extended by baking the printing plate. After proper baking, the medical film of the printing plate can improve the adhesion, enhance the wear resistance and corrosion resistance, so the service life is greatly extended. But when baking, you must master the baking temperature and baking time, generally 200 ~ 220 ℃, about 10 to 15 minutes is appropriate, you can also flexibly according to the temperature resistance of the printing plate film. If the baking time is too long and the temperature is too high, the photosensitive resin film of the printing plate will be baked, or the plate base will be softened, and the life will be reduced.

Fourth, during printing, the pressure of the water and ink roller on the printing plate must be adjusted, and the appropriate fountain solution should be used to strictly control the water-ink balance. If the pressure of water and ink roller on the printing plate is too large, it will damage the printing plate; if the pH value of the fountain solution is too high, it will dissolve the diazo compounds in the graphic part of the printing plate, resulting in incomplete graphics and affecting the printing quality ; If the ink is too thick, the tiny particles of colorant, connecting material and rubber in the ink will increase the friction of the printing plate, and it will also accelerate the wear of the printing plate; if the plate surface has too much water, use a weak acidic water bucket liquid (for Cleaning oil stains) also has a corrosive effect on the printing plate.

In addition, when transporting, loading and unloading, uploading and revising the plate, strictly follow the regulations, and work carefully to avoid damage to the printing plate, which is also a condition for ensuring a long service life of the printing plate.
