Cardboard edge pressure tester The cardboard used to make the carton must have sufficient compressive strength. The cartons are subject to certain pressure during use, transportation and stacking. In order to ensure the quality of the cartons, the ring-press strength of the cardboard must be determined. For example, the ring paper compression strength of box paper is more than 250N . The ring-press strength of the paperboard refers to a sample of a certain size, which is inserted in the sample seat to form a ring-shaped ring, and is compressed between the two measuring plates. The electric force that is received before the crushing is the ring pressure strength. Expressed in Newton (N) .
Application instruments
The measurement is usually performed using a compressive strength tester designed according to Hooke's law and the bending deformation theory of the beam. That is, within the elastic limit, the amount of bending deformation of the spring plate beam is linear with the magnitude of the external force. The deformation of the spring plate beam ( deflection ) is measured using a dial gauge, and the force value is calculated based on the stress-strain curve of the spring force plate.
The main body of the instrument is composed of a worm, a worm wheel, a sprocket, a screw, and the like, and is composed of a spring measuring force and a thousand-minute measuring mechanism. The features of the instrument are as follows:

The tester works according to the bending principle of the beam, and the test results should be measured and indicated within 20 c/o to 80 c/o of the electric bending range of the beam. The indication accuracy is 0.1N .
(2)       The sample holder has an inner diameter of (49.3 ± 0.05) mm and a depth of (35 ± 0.25) mm.
(3)       When the platen comes into contact, the platen pressure should increase by (67 ± 13) N / s .
(4)       The edge of the specimen cut by the knife used to cut the sample must be neat and parallel. The dimensions are 12 ± 0.025 mm in width and 152 ± 0.25 mm in length. Double knives can be used for this purpose and the non-parallelism of the long side is required to be less than 0.015 mm .
