Domestic "no braid" trams will be put into production next year
According to Zhang Zhiqiong, deputy general manager of Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., the two parties signed a "deep technology transfer", which means that the Italian side will transfer 100% of its modern tram and ground power supply system technology to CNR. Within 10 working days after the two parties signed the contract, "The first batch of technology transfer must be in place, after the first payment; all technologies will be transferred to CNR Dalian before the end of the year." Zhang Zhiqiong did not disclose the amount of the technology transfer. However, he said that compared with the bids of similar companies such as Alstom and Siemens, the cost performance of this technology transfer is the highest.
According to the strategic framework agreement signed between CNR and the Zhuhai Municipal Government on July 15, last year, CNR started construction of the first modern tram and ground power supply system production base in Zhuhai in March this year, and it is expected to be put into operation in October 2013 At that time, the domestic production rate will reach more than 80%.
