Color is the most important factor in the image. A beautifully designed image is the visual effect of moving people. Therefore, color selection and matching are very important. Fireworks MX 2004 provides powerful color capabilities. Not only can we use a variety of ways to use colors for objects to use a variety of color effects, but also can manage colors through the color panel to facilitate our image design.
By understanding how colors are used in Fireworks MX 2004, color panels, and color management, we can give an overview of common color usage methods and techniques in design software.
You can click the Mixer or Swatches under the Window menu in the Fireworks interface. We can open the Fireworks Colors panel. We found that the color mixer and color swatches are combined by default in the Fireworks color palette. The functions on the color mixing panel are shown in Figure 13.
Clicking the button in the upper right corner will pop up the popup menu shown in Figure 14, with the Fireworks MX 2004 Color Mode option at the top of the menu. The lower part of the popup menu is about some operations of the panel, including reorganizing the panel, renaming the panel, and the like.
Select the Swatches tab on the color panel. The Color swatch panel opens, as shown in Figure 15. In the Color Swatches panel we can manage the colors in Fireworks MX 2004.
